Barracouta Rock

Barracouta Rock (54°1′S 38°3′W) is a submerged rock lying 0.4 nautical miles (0.7 km) south of the entrance to Jordan Cove, Bird Island, off the west end of South Georgia. It was first charted by personnel on HMS Owen in 1961, and named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for one of Owen's survey motor boats.[1]
