Bandar bin Muhammad Al-Saud

Bandar bin Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud (Arabic: بندر بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل سعود; 1924 – 21 January 2020), was a Saudi businessman and member of House of Saud, son of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman, nephew of Ibn Saud and cousin of current monarch Salman of Saudi Arabia.[2]

Bandar bin Mohammed was a businessman. He was owner-designate of Bangladeshi Rupali Bank.[3] He was also the owner of Alraed Ltd Investment Holding Company WLL.[4]

Bandar bin Muhammad was one of the members of Al Saud Family Council which was established by then Crown Prince Abdullah in June 2000 to discuss private issues, including business activities of princes and marriages of princesses to nonroyals.[5]

He married his cousin Al Bandari bint Abdulaziz Al Saud (1928–2008) with whom he had 7 daughters and 7 sons. The Royal Court announced his death on 21 January 2020 at the age of 95 and his funeral was held the same day at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyad.[6][7]
