BJ Miller

BJ Miller is an American physician, author and speaker. He is a practicing palliative care physician at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco.[1] He sees patients at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with terminal or life-altering illnesses and formerly served as Executive Director of San Francisco’s Zen Hospice Project.[2] His expertise includes symptom management for patients with cancer and is on the teaching faculty at UCSF School of Medicine.[3] In film, Miller is the subject of Netflix's Academy Award-nominated short documentary, End Game[4] by veteran directors Rob Epstein, Jeffrey Friedman and executive produced by physician and film producer, Shoshana R. Ungerleider[5].
