Aztec rail

The Aztec rail, or Mexican rail, (Rallus tenuirostris) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae. It is endemic to highland freshwater marshes in Mexico.[2] The species was formerly considered a subspecies of the King rail,[3] but further analyses have discovered it was more related to the Ridgeway's Rail.[2]
