Philanthropy and personal life

The Glazer Family Foundation, established in 1999, is dedicated to assisting charitable and educational causes in the West Central Florida region. It works with youth and families to help identify and create programs that support positive social and economic development within these communities. The Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program has provided more than 100,000 eye screenings, performed over 16,500 eye exams and outfitted more than 15,000 children with free eyeglasses.

Glazer helped fund the Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa, Florida. With more than 200,000 visitors annually, the mission of the Glazer Children’s Museum is to create a learning laboratory where children play, discover and connect with the world around them; developing lifetime learners and leaders. Glazer and his wife Jill also made possible the Glazer Family Club at Tulane University's Yulman Stadium.[8] Glazer received the Distinguished Alumni award in 2013 from Washington University in St. Louis.[9]
