Snippets

  • Maniratnam wanted Karna' s death and Duryodhana seeking revenge as climax, but this will kill Rajinikanth's character before climax. So he altered the script as Duryodhana (Mammootty) getting killed and Karna (Rajinikanth) taking revenge.
  • In Kannada version Annavru, the climax shows Karna (Darshan) getting killed and Duryodhana (Ambareesh) taking revenge on killers.
