Works
Dr. Barry authored The Master's Prayer : Devotional meditations on the Lord's Prayer (1994), The Unchanging Feast: The Nature and Basis of Lutheran Worship (1995), What Does This Mean? Catechesis in the Lutheran Congregation (1996) and numerous pamphlets in the “What About?” series.
His “What About?” series was anchored in the unchanging truth of God’s Holy Word and the faithful exposition of that word provided in the Lutheran Confessions. They provide clear, direct answers to many questions people are asking today about the Christian faith. Unchanging truth in changing times is precisely what these summaries of Christian doctrine provide. They offer a starting point for people who want to explore the truth of God’s Word in more depth.
