Alfred's blind skink
Alfred's blind skink[2] (Dibamus alfredi) is a species of blind lizards in the family Dibamidae. The species is endemic to Southeast Asia.

Related species
Another species of Dibamus once had been referred to as Alfred's blind skink, but is now a separate species, Dibamus dezwaani.[3]
Habitat
D. alfredi can be found in primary forests, scrub, secondary forests, and plantations, at altitudes up to 1,000 m (3,300 ft).[4]
Naming
Also known as Alfred's flat lizard and Alfred's limbless skink, D. alfredi is named after ichthyologist Eric R. Alfred,[5] who was the director of the Raffles Museum in Singapore (1967–1972).[5][6][7]
