Alex Shaw is a Canadian former international soccer player.[1]

Shaw signed with Dundee United F.C. in 1949, where he played for two seasons appearing 11 matches and recorded five goals.[2] In 1952, he played in the National Soccer League with Toronto St. Andrews.[2] He later played with Toronto Thistle and coached Toronto Ulster United.[1][2]
He made his debut for the Canada men's national soccer team on July 6, 1957 against the United States in a World Cup qualifier match.[1]
