Abbasian Wala Union Council Consists of 90% of Abbasi Family. This Family Take part in politics to fascilitate the People of This Area

Haji Rab-Nawaz Khan Was the Famous Political Leader Of This Town and Near By areas Like Kallurkot, Bhakkar etc. He Won Many Elections In 1970's and 80's. After Then His Nephew Abdul Jabbar Khan Was Selected as The Nazim Of Kallur kot City And Kept working for the welfare of people. In 2002 Abbasi Family Supported Sana Ullah Khan Masti-Khel as an Independent candidate. In 2008 It Was Divided Into two groups. one who supported PTI And Other PMLN This Situation still exists. In Election Of 2015 Ziaullah Khan Abbasi (PTI) Was elected as The UC Chairman. In 2018 PTI Was defeated By an independent candidate Sanaullah Masti Khel MNA And Ameer Muhammad Khan MPA But later They joined Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).

History

Abbasian Wala Is The Sub-union Council Of Haitu. This Village was settled by The person Called "Abbas" Which was the Head of Abbasi Family. Abbasi is not a cast Its a Tribe, they are basically Pathans. In 19th Century Some Migrants From Afghanistan And NWFP (KPK) arrived here along with their Families, These people Lived Here For few Months and decided to live here Permanently. They Were The Base Of The Village and made A new Town Called Abbasian Wala. Some People came here after the settlement of this town which are Non-Abbasi's Now About 60% belong to abbasi's and 40% Belong to Other Casts. Its A Very Backward Area. Usually people are illiterate and not educated. The Main source of Income of natives is Farming and agriculture.
