AFP Joint Special Operations Group
The Joint Special Operations Group,[1] known officially as JSOG or AFP-JSOG, is one the Armed Forces of the Philippines' Wide Support Units tasked in conducting Counter-terrorism, Unconventional-Guerrilla, Asymmetrical, and highly specialized operations that no other regular AFP Unit can handle. In April 2018, the Joint Special Operations Group was deactivated and its units transferred to the AFP Special Operations Command, (AFPSOCOM).
