History

8th Street station opened to the public as one of the original stations on February 27, 2016.[2]

Station layout

The station consists of two side platforms on either side of H Street.

P Platform level	Side platform, doors will open on the right
	Westbound	← H Street/Benning Road Line toward Union Station (5th Street)
	Eastbound	→ H Street/Benning Road Line toward Oklahoma Avenue (13th Street) →
	Side platform, doors will open on the right
