2021 Women's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations

The 2021 Women's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations will be the eighth edition of the Women's Hockey Africa Cup of Nations, the quadrennial international women's field hockey championship of Africa organised by the African Hockey Federation. The venue and exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

South Africa are the defending champions, winning the 2017 edition.[1] The winner will qualify for the 2022 Women's FIH Hockey World Cup.[2]

Qualification

The top two highest-ranked teams in the FIH World Rankings qualify directly for the tournament while the other teams have to play in the regional qualifiers. The top two teams from each of the regional qualifiers qualify for the tournament. The three regions are North-East Africa, North-West Africa, and Central-South Africa.[3][4]
