Preview

Several UCI Women's Teams like Velocio–SRAM, Orica–AIS and Rabo–Liv dit not participate because they rode the 2015 Strade Bianche Women in Italy the day before. A main favorite Ellen van Dijk (Boels–Dolmans) could not start due to a back injury. Because the team did not have reserves as they also competed in Italy, Lariss Havik competed as a guest rider for the team so the team had the fewest riders to start.[2]
