Vidalia is a city in and the parish seat of Concordia Parish, Louisiana. It is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, across from Natchez, Mississippi.

Originally owned by Alfred Vidal Davis, Sr., one of the wealthiest planters in the state in the mid-19th century. John R. Lynch, Mississippi's first black congressman, was born into slavery on the plantation in 1847.
