By plane

• Melbourne International Airport in Melbourne is the nearest large airport.
• Larger airports at Orlando and West Palm Beach with many more flights are about 1.5 hours away.
• Vero Beach Municipal Airport (VRB  ^IATA), 3400 Cherokee Dr, [phone]. There is only one scheduled flight which goes to Newark, and flights sometimes continue on to Bar Harbor during the summer. The airport boasts three runways up to 7300ft. Hertz and Enterprise car rentals available. Professional flight training, aircraft maintenance, and many other aviation services are available.

Get around

By car

State Road 60 takes you to US-1, which are both main roads in the city.

By bus

The Go-Line IRT is the local transit system, serving all of Indian River County and Fort Pierce in St. Lucie at the IRSC.

The Treasure Coast Connector is the local bus service of St. Lucie County, but it now has a route running from the Fort Pierce Intermodal Station to South Point Plaza on 43rd Street in Vero Beach.
