Tzaneen
Tzaneen is a large town situated in the Letaba district of the Limpopo Province, South Africa. It is in a fertile region with tropical and subtropical agriculture taking place in a 20,000 km² region. About 650 000 people residing within a 30-km radius.
There are different theories to were the name comes from and range from the Sotho words tsaneng (gathering place) to tsana (basket of hills).

Climate
Mostly sunshine, long summer days with pleasant winters. Tzaneen's subtropical conditions provids more suited weather for dense forests (high summer rainfall) than the thorny bushveld above the escarpment.
