See
- π Spark. The one sight in Tynset is the world's largest spark. A spark is a thing people in Norway use to get around during the winter. It's like a sledge that you push around on the snow.
- π Savalen (20 km (12 mi) west of Tynset). Most famous for being one of the places where Santa Claus is living. There is also a great area for outdoors activities. There is among other things a downhill skiing slope.
- π Tron (Tronfjell) (30 km (19 mi) driving south of Tynset). By a clear day you can drive up to this 1,666 m (5,466 ft) summit to have a nice view of the surroundings. Toll gate: kr 100 for a car.
- π Jutulhogget (45 km (28 mi) south of Tynsen). A 2.4 km (1.5 mi) long canyon.
