Minnesota State Highway 61 is the only route into town. It stretches from Duluth in the south, through Two Harbors, all the way to the Canadian border at Grand Portage. From there it becomes Ontario Highway 61 and continues to Thunder Bay.

- 🌍 Betty's Pies, 1633 Hwy 61, ☎ +1 218 834-3367. 7AM-9PM daily. A small diner on Highway 61 just north of town known for its multitude of pies, and something of an institution on the North Shore. Others regard it as more of an overcrowded tourist trap getting by on its long-held reputation.
