Tutóia
Tutóia is a town in Maranhão, mainly only a stopover between Lençóis Maranhenses and Parnaíba.
Get in
- Several daily buses to Parnaíba, last one leaving at 14:45, 3 hours R$14.
- One daily to São Luís.
- 4x4 pick up trucks for Paulino Neves, R$8, 1½ hours. These leave at varying hours, mostly corresponding with buses from Parnaíba, but the only one that seems to be guaranteed leaves at 10:00.
- There used to be a regular boat to Parnaíba, but no more. You can rent a motor launch for R$400, taking up to 4 people.
