Taubaté

Taubaté is in the North Coast region of São Paulo. The second largest city of the Paraíba Valley, Taubaté was the home of Amácio Mazaroppi and Monteiro Lobato, two renowned personalities of Brazilian culture, which museums dedicated to each of them. The city is also an excellent base to explore the North Coast region of the state, as its location gives easy access to major touristic attractions of the region.
