Tarvisio

Tarvisio is a village in the Udine province of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy.

You can hit the slopes right after you step out of the church on the top of Mt. Lussari.

Tarvisio is located in the Canal Valley, between the Carnic Alps in the north, and the Julian Alps in the south.

History

As a place upon ancient trade routes from the Alps to Venice, the roots of Tarvisio date back from Roman times.
