Both Rajkot and Ahmedabad are 100 km away from Surendranagar.

By train

There are direct trains from all parts of India to Surendrangar. Some of the longer routes include trains from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Jammu-Tawi, Kochi, Secunderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Bhopal etc.

By bus

Surendranagar is quite well connected to the entire region of Saurashtra and rest of Gujarat by buses.

Parotha-Shaak.. with super spicy pototo shaak and almost fried parathas... a treat to eat .. best place - Novelty.

Small spicy variant of the regular samosa. - Try it at Rajesh samosa house.

Try the 'Kachori' from the small and famous shop Sagar on the Dalmil Road.

In addition various street food dabeli, ghughara etc. are a must when visiting this city.
