Stokkseyri is a town on the southern coast of Iceland.

Stokkseyri is a little town on southcoast of iceland and lies on a 8000-year-old lava that extends between the Iceland greatest rivers, Ölfusá in the west (the largest, 423 m³/s) and Thjórsá in the east (the longest, 230km) were they flow in to the Atlantic Ocean. The sea waves have molded the lava in to a shore renown for its beauty. Stokkseyri is not far from Iceland's most visited tourist attractions. Stokkseyri has a lot to offer in recreation: museums, family garden, restaurant, kayak sailing, swimming pool, etc. and is becoming evermore attracting every year.
Stokkseyri is about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik city.
