Southern Isaan is a region of Thailand. Geographically it is part of the Mun River Basin.

WARNING: Travelling to the border area of Si Saket province can be dangerous and is strongly discouraged by most embassies due to an ongoing border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia. These disputes have turned violent in April 2009, February 2011 and May 2011, causing at least 41 deaths among military forces and civilians.
