South Hesse

South Hesse, Südhessen, is a region in the Hesse state of Germany.

This area is more or less equivalent to one the former Hessian states "Hesse-Darmstadt", named for its residence and its ruling house.

Darmstadt is the area's main hub, with regional trains connecting it mostly to Frankfurt and the other big cities of Hesse.
