Sipalay
Sipalay is a city in Negros Occidental. Population, including rural areas administered as part of the township, is around 70 thousand.
Understand
Sipalay's beaches, coral reefs, caves and waterfalls are little-known, making it one of the best destinations for a trip off the beaten path. You'd find its white beaches deserted. Locals know about it — it is a popular destination for city dwellers from Dumaguete or Bacolod who want peace and quiet for a change — but tourists generally do not.
Get in
Sipilay is down on the southern coast of Negros Island, near the border of that island's two provinces. It is usually reached via one of the provincial capitals, Bacolod or Dumaguete, both of which have busy airports and sea ports. It is connected to both via a coastal highway and is roughly equidistant between them.
