Get in
Bus service is available from Arusha, Dodoma, and Mwanza. All roads have unpaved sections, so the going can be slow and uncomfortable.
From:
- Arusha: TSh 14,000 on Mtea or Airborn City
- Katesh: TSh 5,000
- Dodoma: TSh 12,000 on ABC
- Dar es Salaam: TSh 25,000 on ABC
There is train service from Dodoma on some days, but it is primarily a freight line (slow) and only third class service (hard benches, substantial overcrowding) is available. TSh 4,800. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.

- Lake Singida: This saline lake lies just outside of Singida Town. It attracts many birds, like pelicans and flamingos.
- Regional Museum: This museum shows artifacts from Singida Region's tribes, like weapons and jewellery. It is located at the Open University of Tanzania.

Stanley Hotel, Scene Lodge, Aqua Vitae are some of the higher-end hotels in town.
Social Training Center, run by nuns, offers rooms for Tsh 4,800 a night.
Cheyo and Lutheran Center offer rooms for Tsh 2,000 a night.
