Silang is a municipality in Cavite.
Understand
Silang is bordered by Dasmariñas, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, and Carmona on the north, Gen. Trias, Amadeo on the west, Tagaytay on the south and by Laguna Province on the east. Silang is a landlocked municipality with over 150,000 residents.
Get in
Silang can be reached by bus, or by jeepney. Coming from Manila, it will take 1 hour to reach the town proper.
Fares ranges from ₱100 to ₱200 from Manila to Silang.
Get around
Tricycles are the primary mode of transportation through town and its barangays. Jeepneys are the most economical way to travel along the areas beside Aguinaldo Highway.
Most of Silang is in the countryside, dotted with barangays and crisscrossed by a network of local roads. Travelling by car is advisable if you want to avoid the hassle with tricycles, but watch out as roads are narrow and there are lots of pedestrian traffic through the barangays.
