From Pune: It is a 4.5 hour/225 km drive from Pune to Sangli. The drive along National Highway 4 is very comfortable and pleasing to eye. From Kolhapur: It is a one hour/50 km drive from the cultural city of Maharashtra.

Sangli also has good connectivity to Solapur, Belgaum, Bangaluru, Hyderabad and other major commercial hubs==.

By Rail

Sangli has a railway station; Additionally Miraj Junction serves to Sangli which is about 10 km from city center. Mutiple train serve Sangli on Mumbai - Pune - Miraj - Bangalore route.

One can travel in Sangli by three wheeler rickshaws or by a taxi. City bus service is also available along some major routes.
