Sandıklı has a train station across the highway from the town. But there have been no passenger trains servicing Sandıklı since the suspension of Pamukkale Express, which used to provide a connection on its route between Istanbul and Denizli, in 2008.
By car
Sandıklı lies right on the highway D650, which is for the most part upgraded to motorway standards, and connecting Istanbul with the major resort city of Antalya on the Mediterranean via Afyon to the north of Sandıklı, and Burdur to the south.
By thumb
Getting a lift from Burdur in the south is not very hard.
Get around
