San Marino (California)
San Marino is a city in the northwestern San Gabriel Valley of California. The city was founded by Henry E. Huntington (who built a streetcar network in San Marino and other cities in Southern California, and endowed the Huntington Library), Don Benito Wilson, and George Patton, Sr. (father of the general). It is one of Southern California's more affluent communities.

Three art galleries showcase 18th- and 19th-century British and French masterpieces including the famed "Pinkie" and "The Blue Boy" paintings. Sixteen lush gardens covering 150 acres round out the experience.
