Södertälje
Södertälje, nicknamed Tälje or Telge, is a city in Sweden in Stockholm County, 30 km to the southwest of Stockholm. While 65,000 people live in the city, the municipality, Södertälje kommun, has 93,000 inhabitants in total. This article also covers the nearby Nykvarn municipality.

Södertälje is built around a canal. Today the city is mainly known for the significant Assyrian/Syrian diaspora, most of them originating from Iraq, and for the Scania truck factory.

By train
Södertälje has four train stations, three of which (Södertälje centrum, Södertälje hamn, and Östertälje) are only used for Pendeltåget commuter traffic. The Södertälje center station is next to the city centre, Maren, and Södertälje city hall.
Long-distance trains to Gothenburg and Malmö, as well as regional trains, call at Södertälje Syd. The station is located on a bridge across an ocean bay, 50 metres above sea level, with a spectacular view of the city.
Commuter trains, pendeltåg, carry on to Södertälje Centrum.
By car
European roads E4 and E20 converge at Södertälje.
By bus

Bus 748 (Liljeholmen-Kungens kurva-)Fittja-Södertälje: 30 minutes interval except rush hours and off hours
Bus 749 Liljeholmen-Södertälje: Express bus, rush hours only.
By boat
The steamboat S/S Ejderen goes to Stockholm and Mariefred a few times a year.
