The Warrego Highway heads west from Brisbane thru the Lockyer Valley, up the range to Toowomba, through the rich pastrol lands of the Darling Downs onwards to Roma. From Roma your journey can continue west to Charleville, north to Emerald and Mackay or south into New South Wales.

Queensland Rail runs its Westlander service between Brisbane and Charleville two times a week. 🌍 Roma railway station is located at 41 Station St.

  • The Big Rig, Warrego Highway - The town's major tourist attraction pays tribute to its oil and gas industry from the early 1900s. It is located on an old oil derrick on the outskirts of the town, and is part of the Queensland Heritage Trails Network.
