Prestatyn
Prestatyn is a town in Denbighshire, on the north coast of Wales. It is the most easterly of the holiday resorts on the north Wales coast, and so is convenient for day trips from the cities of Liverpool and Manchester in north-west England.

By train
Prestatyn Railway Station is situated on the Holyhead Branch of the West Coast Mainline. Direct services to and from London Euston are provided by Virgin Trains, with Arriva Trains Wales operating frequent trains to and from Chester, Crewe, Manchester, Birmingham and across North Wales. Arriva also provides services every day to and from Cardiff and South Wales via Shrewsbury and Hereford.
By bus
Local Bus services are provided by ARRIVA Cymru.
National Express operates a number of coach services to and from Prestatyn Bus Station, which connect with its vast UK wide network.

North Hoyle Wind Farm. You will see wind farms wherever you go in Wales but North Hoyle is different. This is the first major offshore wind farm in UK waters, and is located around 5 miles out to sea from Prestatyn.
- Roman Helmet Sculpture, Hillside Gardens, Fforddlas, Prestatyn. Roman Helmet Sculpture, representing the Start or Finish of Offa's Dyke National Trail. Located in Hillside Gardens, with its fantastic views of Prestatyn town, the North Wales Coast and Wind Farms. It can be reached on foot or by car from Prestatyn Town Centre. The more adventurous walkers, can continue following the Offa's Dyke Markers, and head up onto the off road section of the path,where more amazing views can be found. Free.
- Roman Bath House, Melyd Avenue, Prestatyn. Genuine example of a Roman bath house, only a small site, little bigger than the size of a house. There is a helpful display, that explains the functionality of the baths, and some benches to sit and ponder the scene from millennia ago. Not easy to find, set amidst a housing estate, and with limited parking, perhaps best to visit on foot. Free.

Long-Distance Walking
- Offa's Dyke Path. Prestatyn is at the northern end of the 177 mile national trail, which runs the length of the Wales/England border to Chepstow, following an 8th-century defensive earthwork.
- Other trails starting and/or finishing in the town are the North Wales Path, Clwydian Way and Dee Way.
- Beaches. Prestatyn's most famous tourist attraction is its beach. The town's central beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, the only Denbighshire beach with the accolade.
