By car
Port Washington is a quick hop off of I-43 between Milwaukee and Sheboygan. It is on Lake Michigan and it has a great marina to pull your boat into.
From The North
Coming from Sheboygan take I-43 South, exit Highway 32 South near the Allen-Edmonds Shoe Store.
From The West
From the West Bend/Newburg Area, take Highway 33 East till you get to the lake.
From The South
Coming from Milwaukee take I-43 North, exit Highway 32 North just after the Grafton Exit. Highway 32 merges with Highway 33 to take you to the downtown area.
By bus
- Milwaukee County Transit System, . The MCTS operates the Route 143 Ozaukee County Express connecting Milwaukee and Cedarburg to the Port Washington park and ride lot, about 1.5 miles north of downtown near I-43, exit #100.
Get around
This is a small Wisconsin town. It is nice to park on the street and walk around the downtown. You can also stroll out to the lighthouse on a pleasant day, but it is kinda of slippery. If you park your boat, the marina is in the downtown. The whole place is very main street USA.
