Port-Salut
Port-Salut is a coastal town in Southern Haiti, with some of the best beaches on the island. There are a handful hotels and guesthouses and restaurants, but this pretty little slice of beach paradise remains largely undiscovered by international tourism.

Tap-taps will come direct from Jérémie and Les Cayes, with Les Cayes being much closer, but having fewer flights from Port-au-Prince.

- 🌍 Dan's Creek Hotel. The best known hotel in the area is outside town, with its own private beach, pool, restaurant. All rooms in the wild pagoda-like building have oceanview balconies and A/C, but the standard rooms are a little small. Breakfast and dinner are included in rates. US$135-165.
