Pom Pom Island

Pom Pom Island is 30km NE of Semporna in Sabah, East Malaysia. It is a small white sand island completely surrounded by coral reefs. There is no village, no pollution and very little fishing. The reef has amazing biodiversity with very large numbers of fish and coral species. The fish life is recovering and the corals are being replanted by TRACC to reduce the areas of rubble and increase larval fish settlement.
