Pisciotta

Pisciotta is a town in the province of Salerno in the region Campania of Italy. It dates from the Middle Ages, it is organised as a medieval village on the hill.

The village of Pisciotta, a thousand windows on the emerald sea, nestled atop a hill, surrounded by ancient olive trees, one of the prettiest villages in the Mediterranean. Not involved in the building development of mass tourism, the town is a sober and austere beauty, its houses, streets, folklore, ancient history speak of their medieval village. The hospitality of its inhabitants, religious festivals, restaurants, bars in the square.
