Petäjävesi
Petäjävesi is a small village in Central Finland. Its main claim to fame is its wooden church dating back to 1765, a World Heritage Site as an exemplary piece of Scandinavian wooden architecture.

The nearest major city is Jyväskylä. Petäjävesi is on the Haapamäki-Jyväskylä railway line, and also accessible by Matkahuolto buses.
Get around
Public transport is limited to a twice-daily bus, so it's best to bring your own wheels.
