Otaki
Otaki is a town in Greater Wellington that is the place for bargains. At Otaki Beach it's a choice of all the attractions of a beachside community - the sand, the sea and warm summer waters. Otaki Town lies civic, historic and Maori cultural identity. In the East, the hills ascend into a wilderness experience for trackers, rafters and hunters.
Otaki has developed its funkiest face. It has reinvented its interface with State Highway 1 making it a place of outlet shopping paradise including stores such as Pumpkin Patch, Bendon, Billabong, Kathmandu and Ice Breaker as well as boutique gift and shoe shops. Grab yourself a coffee from the local coffee cart or cafes and be on your way to shopping madness.

- š RangiÄtea church, 33 Te Rauparaha St. RangiÄtea church was built in 1848, but was burnt down in 1995 and rebuilt in 2003. Before the fire, it was the oldest MÄori Anglican church in New Zealand.
