Okhotsk

Okhotsk (Russian: Ох'отск, o-HO-tsk) is a village in the Russian Far East centered around silver mining and fishing. The village has a population of approximately 4,500 people. It was the first settlement in the Russian Far East.

There are no road leading to Okhotsk. Okhotsk Airport (Аэропорт Охотск; OHO  IATA) fields 3.5 hour flights from Khabarovsk with Khabarovsk Airlines (+7 42135 30 610) and occasionally Nikolaevsk-on-Amur. It also offers helicopter flights to surrounding settlements.
