Get in
You can get in and out from Coca by daily speedboat (18.75$) or by privately hired boat from Pantoja (10$ up to 25$ depending on bargaining and availability). The speedboat took at the beginning of the wet season (end of march) around 10 hours, the small boat from Pantjoa around 1,5 hours.
Get around
Walk everything is rechable in a few minutes.
See
Yasuni National Park is close. Contact local guide form some daily/multiday tour in the park and Indigenous Community (cheaper than Coca) Fernando Cifuente (+593 9805 19789)
Yaku Warmi where is possibile to see the rare Amazonian River Dolphin. Contact local capitan Luis Ramos (+593 9800 72658) for the tour.
Do
Take a bath in the river, take care its quite fast flowing. Get passport stamped, which can take some time, as the office is not always attended. In case you wait till the official working hours of the office are over and they want you to come back tomorrow insist on it. Otherwise, there is also the possibility to get the passport stamped in Coca.
Buy
A few shops (bodegas) around, which can serve with many basic items from (imported) fruits up to underwear.
Eat
Few outdoor restaurants around town.
Drink
Sleep
A few Hostels even one with air conditioned rooms (around 12$).
If you take the fast boat in the morning you can ask the captain if you can put your hammock up or sleep on the benches.
Connect
No Internet cafes around but in one street there is a card phone hanging.

- Coca Daily boat
- Pantoja bargain for private transport (10$-90$ per boat) or wait for better possibility (one time every month you'll find speed boat 6am for 10$ per person)
Or uptream other rivers.
