Nakbé is an early Maya archaeological site located in the Petén department of the Northern Lowlands of Guatemala.

With mules and guide from El Mirador. This trip is usually done this way, but if you are on your way to Naachtun, you may be coming from Uaxactun.
Fees and permits
None. The two vigilantes (guards) are pleased when you sign their guest book. Odds are that the previous visitors were there a month before. One of them will go to a lot of effort to show you around. Tips are appreciated, especially hard liquor.
