Muros

Muros is a town in Galicia.

Square in Muros

Get in

Bus from Santiago de Compostela. The bus ride is a very pleasant part of a visit to the town, in its own right.

Get around

No problem with walking.

See

This is at the end of the Ria de Muros e Noia. Unsurprisingly the Ria is less visited by tourists and less built up than the rias of Pontevedra and Vigo. Some guidebooks reckon it second only to Pontevedra as a Galician town. Possibly this is a bit over-enthusiastic but, be that as it may, the stting of the town is its main attraction.

Eat

Like many places around it, Muros is a great place for seafood--try to take advantage, even if it's only something to eat while waiting for the bus.
