Landscape
As the name reveals the park comprises Mount Hamiguitan and the surrounding region. The highest mountain, Hamiguitan, is 1,620 m (5,310 ft) above the sea level.
Flora and fauna
Flora-wise the highlights of the sanctuary are the wealth carnivorous plants (nepenthes) and its unique pygmy forest. The wildlife sanctuary is a habitat for the critically endangered Philippine eagle.
