Lodging
The national park board offers two lodging options:
- Home stay at Citalahab village is a nice way to get right into the heart of the local community. Accommodation is understandably basic but the villagers more than make up for it. They are friendly, welcoming and sincere (unlike other touristy spots where locals blatantly asks for money for everything including a picture). Try your hands at harvesting rice or gardening or playing with the local kids.
- Cikaniki Research Station Lodge is usually almost always packed with researchers and university students on the weekends. The wooden lodge is in the middle of primary rain forest. A group of rangers uses a part of the building as an office, sleeping quarters and exhibition area. The station can accommodate maximum 20 guests in 5 rooms. Food are hard to come by so kitchens comes fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils for you to prepare your own food. (Or ask the ranger to arrange for a villager as a daily cook.) Rates are about US$25 per night per room.

gollark: You can *somewhat* change them.
