  • Glades County courthouse - built in 1928, it survived the Okeechobee Hurricane the same year. The high water mark is still barely visible below the second story.

  • Moore Haven Residential Historic District - contains a number of simple old homes that survived or were built after the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926 and the 1928 hurricane.
