Llanfairfechan

Llanfairfechan is a small Victorian seaside resort in the county of Conwy in North Wales. Llanfairfechan was judged North Wales Calor Village of the Year for 2009 in the competition run by Calor Gas UK. According to the 2001 Census, 50.4% of the population of the town can speak the Welsh language. The town has twinned with Pleumeleuc, Brittany.

Town is off the A55 truck road Chester - Holyhead, also known as the North Wales Expressway (Welsh: Gwibffordd Gogledd Cymru), between Conwy and Bangor.

Rhiwiau is situated 600 feet up in a valley with mountains to the rear, the views overlook the Menai Straits and the Isle of Anglesey. The guesthouse is less than 5 minutes from the A55, and is family owned and run since 1972.
