Liptovsky Hradok is a small town in the Liptov region of Central Slovakia.

Exit at the 🌍 train station. Bus station is right next to it, with connections esp. from surrounding cities, like Liptovsky Mikulas.

Being a small town, most of it can be visited by foot in a short time.

- 🌍 Liptovský Hrádok castle. 10:00-15:00. A recently reconstructed castle, but old-time dominant of the town. Guided tours of about 30 minutes will show you the history and various parts of the castle and ruins. 3€.

The most favorite summer sports are tennis, soccer, roller skating and the cycling in neighboring forest valleys.
Skiing on the nearby hill is favorite sport in the winter. Ice-skating is also possible on the river Vah.
